CineMás: A Latino Film Series
The newest addition to the Coalition’s cultural event calendar, CineMás brings the best of Latin film to Charlotte. With screenings taking place in spring, summer, and fall, each CineMás show will highlight those films that go unseen by most of America. From thought provoking documentaries, to emotional dramas, CineMás shows will you get you thinking, discussing, and understanding more about your Latin neighbors and beyond. Most shows offer authentic food, drinks, and a discussion afterward.

The Liberator - a Spanish-Venezuelan historical drama film directed by Alberto Arvelo, starring Édgar Ramírez as Simón Bolívar. The film tells the story of Venezuelan military and political leader Simón Bolívar - who played a crucial role in freeing Latin America from the grip of the Spanish Empire and his vision of a united South American nation.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and film beings at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 (CASH & CREDIT ACCEPTED) and can be bought the day of the screening at the Mint Museum Randolph. Please note: Film is in Spanish w/ English Subtitles.
