CineMás: A Latino Film Series
The newest addition to the Coalition’s cultural event calendar, CineMás brings the best of Latin film to Charlotte. With screenings taking place in spring, summer, and fall, each CineMás show will highlight those films that go unseen by most of America. From thought provoking documentaries, to emotional dramas, CineMás shows will you get you thinking, discussing, and understanding more about your Latin neighbors and beyond. Most shows offer authentic food, drinks, and a discussion afterward.

A la mala is a 2015 Mexican romantic comedy film written by Issa López and Ari Rosen and directed by Pedro Pablo Ibarra. When aspiring actress Maria Laura's best friend begs her to flirt with her boyfriend to test his fidelity, Maria finds a lucrative new career. After being hired by women across the city, Maria is given a gig that should be business as usual until she ends up falling head over heels for her latest mark.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and film beings at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 (CASH & CREDIT ACCEPTED) and can be bought the day of the screening at the Mint Museum Randolph. Please note: Film is in Spanish w/ English Subtitles.
