We invite you to spend the day in a family environment, at no cost, which includes the care of children over 4 years, lunch, snacks, raffles, prizes and scholarships to local programs We will focus on issues that are relevant to the community such as immigration, health, economic mobility, labor rights and Education (among others). The idea is that this event will become an annual Convening to promote collaboration and develop new ideas and projects that will improve the quality of life of our community.

Primary Goals:
  • Collect information directly from Latino community, so that the community has an important voice in the planning and delivery of services of organizations that provide direct services.
  • Create an agenda for common benefit.
  • Establish a space where organizations find commonalities to maximize their work with and for the Latino community.
  • Know what are the different functions and programs of participating organizations to promote a resource sharing alliance, whether material or human talent, to directly address current needs.

The basic idea is to create dialogue where the main short-term needs and strengths of our community are shared to maximize resources and systematically improve the quality of life of our community.
