AmeriCorps ACCESS Member: Workforce Coordinator
Full-Time Member (1700 service hours)
The Workforce Coordinator will be responsible for the instruction of on and offsite employment workshops (taller de trabajo), resume workshop, mock interview program, and any workforce development-related classes. This AmeriCorps member will also maintain our job board, updating it with new open positions and removing past due positions, communicate any necessary updates for the organization’s website, keep all documents and materials up to date and readily available, and welcome and assist clients as they enter the Job Bank. The Workforce Coordinator will also ensure that any needs that promote stability for immigrant families during their job search are assessed and appropriate referrals are completed. Thorough documentation of all client/case information is required. This is a full-time AmeriCorps Member position that requires approximately 36 per week in the offices of the Latin American Coalition in Charlotte, NC.

This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Latin American Coalition’s Board of Directors in our offices located in Charlotte, NC.
