Charlotte-NC. At the Immigrant Welcome Center (IWC) of the Latin American Coalition, we open the doors to new immigrants and refer them to our allies so that they can settle in the city more easily, obtaining benefits in various areas.

Our goal is to increase integration and reduce barriers to resources, therefore we offer a variety of referrals to other agencies in Charlotte, for example, Spanish-speaking lawyers and low-cost health clinics, collaboration with the Charlotte school system Mecklenburg, referrals for food pantries and housing crisis assistance when there is a current contract.

The Immigrant Welcome Center is open from Monday to Thursday (Friday limited attention only by appointment). Consider that to be attended more diligently you must make an appointment by calling 704-531-3848 or by clicking on the following link. These are our opening hours: from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
