LAC invites you to the 5K & 10K Race

Charlotte-NC. On June 17, The Latin American Coalition will hold the City of Immigrants 5K & 10K Race, which celebrates the Latino heritage and supports the immigrant community of Charlotte.

The sports activity will be on Saturday, June 17 and will begin at 8:00 am at McAlpine Creek Park, 8711 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212. This event is aimed at all athletes interested in registering their times, people who are starting in the world of racing or athletics or who wish to create a new record. The City of Immigrants 5K & 10K will also be to share with family, friends or with those who want to do a healthy activity on the weekend.

All proceeds will benefit The Latin American Coalition (LAC) which has been a pillar of the Charlotte community for 35 years, dedicated to empowering and advocating for the Latino community through education, civic engagement and immigration advocacy.
To participate you must:

1- Create your group

2- Choose a name that identifies your team

3- Register on the website

4-On the day of the race you must wear an original outfit or one that represents your country

At the end of the race, we will celebrate with music, prizes, games and lots of fun for the whole family. Come celebrate your heritage and support the wonderful work that The Latin American Coalition is doing helping immigrant communities in Charlotte, while running on a Saturday morning through beautiful McAlpine Creek Park!

All proceeds will benefit The Latin American Coalition (LAC), a pillar of the Charlotte community for 35 years, dedicated to empowering and advocating for Latinos through education, civic engagement and immigration advocacy.
