LAC invites you to the 4th Annual Teens for Courage Summit

Charlotte-NC. The Latin American Coalition invites you to the 4th Annual Teens for Courage Summit, a program of the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage, which seeks to end teen dating violence.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 22, at the Carowinds facilities from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. To register you must enter the official page https://www.teensforcourage.org/events/, select 2023 Teens for Courage Summit to complete your data, in “school” select Latin American Coalition and the event will be free. Registration closes on Thursday, February 16.

Teens for Courage believes that teenagers hold the key to a future without violence, that they are capable of creating lasting change in society, and that they have the power to change the culture to one that does not tolerate abusive behavior.

The technique used by the organization to confront violence is providing teenagers with information and tools that will empower them and in turn empower other teenagers. Teens are the first line of defense for other teens, who often turn to friends for support before ask for help from family or other adults.
